Topics to Cover for Presentation

You can structure your presentation as the following: 

  • First slide: Project Title, Names of Team Member(s)

  • Introduction to the problem

    • Why does it matter?

  • Research

  • Insights from Data Exploration

  • Your Process/Ideas

    • Algorithm, Pipeline, Ideas, Implementation

  • Demo (link)

  • Insights from your work

  • Future Steps

    Presentation

    You will have time to present your project on March 28th, followed by feedback from the educators. Your team can choose to present using slides, a demo, or showcase your project using the platform of your choice. We kindly ask that you keep your videos on during your team’s presentation if possible. 

    Time allocation: 10 minutes for the presentation, followed by 5 minutes for educator feedback.

    Remember some key characteristics of good presentations

    Communication: Clear and organized delivery, engaging and well-rehearsed

    Comprehension: Easily understandable, deep understanding demonstrated             

    Engagement: Frequent eye contact, enthusiastic delivery, appropriate gestures and inflection

    Overall Impression: Coherent, engaging, compelling case, original and deep approach, effectively answers questions

     

    NOTE: Some teams may have the opportunity to present at Numana’s Humanitek Conference on April 1st. The conference is mainly French, so the presentation will have to be in French. More information to come.
